  • What kind of documents do I need if I want to rent a car from Veger Rent a Car? – If you want to hire a car from Veger, it is necessary to provide us the documents of the driver and the renter – valid ID card and driving license, either the day you rent the car either earlier if you want us to prepare the rental contract in advance.
  • Is there a minimum age for renting a car from Veger? – To hire a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car without paying an additional tax for “Young driver”, you must be over 23 years old and you must have driving experience at least 3 years. If you don’t cover the above mentioned requirements, the additional tax for “Young driver” is 5euro/day (and will be obliged to pay a double deposit).You may also be imposed on some restrictions.
  • Can I hire a car from Veger Rent a Car if my driving license is issued in another country? – Yes, you can hire a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car with a driving license issued by another country, but it must not expired or expiring during the rental period.
  • What is the amount of the deposit which I have to leave if I rent a car from Veger? – The amount of the deposit depends on the class and the model of the car you want to book, ranging between 200-1500€.
  • How can I pay the deposit? – The deposit must be blocked by credit card. American Express is not accepted. Master card can be used if the rental period is less than 7 days.
  • Why should I leave a deposit if I want to rent a car from Veger Rent a Car? – The deposit you leave can be used for repayment of repair cost for any damage of the vehicle in case you haven’t purchased the full insurance and no protocol is issued by the Police. The deposit can be held in case of absence of fuel, GPS, map etc.
  • How is going to be returned the deposit? – The deposit is only blocked on your credit card and will be unblocked automatically after the rental period. It is important to know that the credit card must be issued to the name of the renter.
  • Can I only check the rental price without making the payment? – Yes, it is possible to be made only a check, but it can’t guarantee you a reserved car.
  • How can I be sure if the reservation is successful and will be implemented if I booked a car through Veger Rent a Cars’ website? – You will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your reservation and will be valid only 24 hours after you have made it, if you do not make a prepayment.
  • What is the procedure when you rent a car from Veger? – When you hire a car from Veger Rent a car, we prepare a rental contract which you have to sign and we provide you a copy of it. The next step is to block the amount of the deposit on your credit card and pay the rental price with the additional charges (if any). Finally, the car is being checked by you, and if any damages are found must be recorded in the contract.
  • Can anybody else drive the car if I am the renter? – Yes, the drivers can be a couple, but they must figure in the contract as additional and must provide us valid driving license and identity card. The tax for additional driver is 2 euro/day per each.
  • Can I shorten or extend the rental period of the car? – Yes, changes to the reservation can be made, but is desirable to make them as soon as possible in order to react adequately and on time.
  • What happens if I return the hired vehicle from Veger Rent a Car earlier than the agreed date? – If you return the hired vehicle earlier than the stated date on the contract, money for the unused time will not be refunded to you.
  • What happens if I return the rented from Veger rent a car vehicle after the agreed time? – If you want to return the vehicle after the agreed time, you have to contact us immediately. Furthermore, we make tolerance to our clients within one hour after the agreed time for returning. If you exceed the one hour, we will have to charge you for a whole rental day
  •  Can I book a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car from today for tomorrow? – We encourage you to make your reservation at least 7 days in advance. If you want the rent to take effect 24 hours after the reservation it is necessary to contact us as the written in section “Contacts” phone.
  • Can I cancel or change my reservation if I have booked a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car, but unforeseen circumstances appeared? – Yes, you can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before the start of the rental period and your prepayment will be refunded. Otherwise Veger doesn’t provide a refund. According to the changes, they can be made, but we have to be informed at least 1 day before the wanted changes.
  • Can I receive a discount since I have booked several times from Veger Rent a Car? – Veger Rent a car offers discount and preferential prices for loyal and regular customers.

  • ‚ÄčDoes the fee for hiring a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car include fuel or it should be paid separately?- Veger Rent a Car provides cars with a full tank and you are expected to return the hired vehicle in the same condition. If there are any shortages of fuel you are obliged to pay the difference, as well as a surcharge of 12 euros.
  • Can I rent a car from another city except Sofia and will I be extra charged? –Yes, you can rent a car from every point in Bulgaria, but we have an additional tax for delivering and collecting the car, which tax depends on the destination and the class of car.
  • Can I hire a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car from a hotel, the airport, the office or home, and from where do I have additional taxes for delivery? - If you rent a car from Sofia airport or from our office at Business park Sofia, there will be no additional charges. You can hire a vehicle from every point in Sofia different than the above mentioned places, but there will be an additional tax for delivery and collecting which is 12 euro each.
  • Does the fee for hiring a vehicle from Veger Rent a ar include road tax (vignette) or it should be paid separately? –Yes. The rental price includes road tax (vignette) for the Republic of Bulgaria.
  • Can I travel abroad with a vehicle hired from Veger Rent a Car? – Yes, it is possible, but for some countries we have restrictions. You must send us the documents of the driver at least 3 days before your reservation in order to prepare the documents. We have an additional charge of 80€ for crossing border as well. I recommend you to make a reservation through our website and we will make you an individual offer for the trip.
  • What insurance does the rental include? – The rental price includes insurance “Third Party Liability” and CDW . Veger Rent a Car offers full insurance, which is paid separately and the amount depends on the class of car.
  • Does Veger Rent a Car provides GPS systems? – Yes, we can provide GPS systems, which are extra charged – 5 euro/day.
  • Should I provide a child seat myself, or I can rent one? – Veger Rent a Car provides child seats for different ages for 3,6 euro/day each.
  • Are Veger Rent a Car vehicles adapted for winter conditions and is there an additional payment for winter equipment? – Winter equipment such as snow chains is being provided to our clients for 3 euro/day.
  • Is there any limit to the mileage which is allowed to be travelled from Veger Rent a Car? – Certain classes of vehicles have such limit to the mileage, but if the concrete car has such limit, it will be mentioned in the individual offer.
  • What should I do if I suffer an accident with rented from Veger vehicle? – You must call the written in the rental contract telephone immediately and inform the relevant restrictive (Police) at 112.
  • What happens if I return the car hired from Veger Rent a Car with damages? – If you haven’t purchased the additional full insurance or you do not provide police report, you will be charged within the amount of your deposit.
  • What does the full insurance include and how much does it limit my responsibility to minimum? – The full insurance which we offer, releases you from responsibility for any damages on the vehicle if you provide us documents from the police, except damages on the tyres, windows, windshields, wheels and loss of keys and documents of the car. In this cases you will be charged the amount of the damage within the amount of the deposit which you have left. If there are additional charges above the amount of the deposit, you are obliged to pay them as well.
  • Can I hire a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car with a chauffeur? – Yes, we can provide you such service, but the price depends on the class of car, hour, destination. This is why I recommend you to make a reservation through our website and we will make you an individual offer.
  • Can I receive a transfer to another city in Bulgaria or abroad, with vehicle from Veger Rent a Car? – Veger offers different transfers in Bulgaria or abroad, the price depends on the class of car and destination. More detailed information can be seen in section “Transfers”, or you can send us a concrete inquiry in order to make you an individual offer.
  • I want to get or return a vehicle from Veger Rent a Car outside working hours. Will I be charged additional fee? – There is an “Outside of working hours” fee which is 20€. Our working hours: Monday-Friday from 9:00-19:00 and Saturday 10:00-16:00.
